Representative projects carried out for international clients in this industry include the following:

• Advisers to government in the valuation, promotion and sale of Cementos Chimborazo C.A., a cement company in Ecuador. Prepared valuation and sales prospectus; in process of promoting, qualifying and negotiating with prospective investors. The sale of the company is anticipated to take place through public auction.

• Represented government interests in the divestiture of shares of La Cemento Nacional (LCN), the largest cement company in Ecuador.

• Represented government interests in the sale of a control block of shares of Cementos Selva Alegre (CSA), and later in of an additional large block of shares.

• Completed a marketing study of the U.S. limestone and lime products industry for a Mexican client. Identified trends and dynamics of the industry and analyzed major competitive forces.
